MTV catered for totally radical teens with Aeon Flux, Daria and Beavis and Butt-Head. Fox took a chance on adult-orientated shows like The Simpsons and Family Guy. Disney emerged from its "Dark Age" to pump out hit after hit, even bagging a few Oscar nominations along the way.
